    The Omegametrix specialist laboratory analyses your sample. You receive your lab report – depending on your option, with the web app analysis and a coaching session.

Frequently asked questions

What is the HS-Omega-3 Index?

The share of the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA among the fatty acids in your red blood cells, measured using the standardised Omegametrix method. Your report shows your value and puts it into context.

Do I need to see a doctor for the test?

No. You take the sample yourself: a few drops of blood from your fingertip are enough. The kit contains everything you need.

What does the web app offer (Advanced and Premium)?

A clear analysis of your values: all 26 fatty acids and your indices with reference and target ranges. Plus an AI-assisted report with a summary, an interpretation of your values and an actionable nutrition plan, tailored to your age and gender. Take the test more than once and you see how your values develop. You can save every report as a PDF.

How does the coaching session work (Premium)?

Once your report is ready, you arrange an online session of around 30 minutes with one of our micronutrient coaches, who explains your results and answers your questions.

Does the analysis replace medical advice?

No. Our analyses and recommendations are intended to optimise your nutrient intake and do not replace medical advice or a medical examination.

How is my data protected?
